The Ukrainian company Pervomaisk Diesel Mash, founded in 1875, supplied the Russian marine market with its medium-speed propulsion engines with 250mm bore/340mm stroke; an in-line eight-cylinder design is rated for 560 kW at 300 rpm, while the output for auxiliary generator drives is 500 kW at 500 rpm.
